Lake Cooper Nature

Last weekend my husband and I took a drive out to Lake Cooper State Park. We rode around for quite some time but I was finally able to grab a few shots of some deer and pretty birds. I LOVE doing this on days when we have nothing else to do. There are many times that we go out just driving the east Texas back roads to see what we can find.

Grandchildren Make the World Go Around...

I am very blessed to have 2 very precious grandchildren. MaKenzi will soon be 4 years old and Brayden just had his 1st birthday! Who would have ever thought that you could love any child as much or more than your own? I now understand how that happens! I don't get to see my babies as often as I would like but we always try to have some fun when we do get to spend some time together. I was blessed enough to see them BOTH this past weekend and spend some time with them. They enjoyed playing outside one afternoon and of course Nana was there to capture the moments on camera!

Going to the Chapel.....

My sister tied the knot a few weeks ago. We are all so happy for her! Here are just a few of my favorite shots that I took at her wedding.

Mrs. Lee's Daffodil Garden

A few weeks ago I traveled with my friends in the photo club and my parents and we visited Mrs. Lee's Daffodil Garden in Gladewater, Texas. This place was soooooo beautiful!!! 28 acres of bright yellow blooming daffodils. I wished that daffodils bloomed alot longer than they do. I

could think of tons of photos I could take using that setting!

More Sidney & Karlee Photos

Sidney & Karlee

I have had many people asking me to do photo shoots for them lately. I didn't really think I would like taking people pics but the more I do it, I am finding I do enjoy it. I am learning just how creative I can be. Sometimes that is quite a challange!!! My mind is always working and trying to think up some new exciting ideas. The little girl in this photo shoot was soooo precious!! I followed her around for hours just watching her play. I ended up snapping over 300 pics for this mommy and her sweet little girl. We had to fight a ferocios wind all afternoon but I think we all had a blast.....I know I did! Thanks Sidney & Karlee!

Little Brayden Turns 1!!!

Our little grandson turned 1 year old this week. It doesn't seem possible for him to have a birthday already. The year has surely flown by. His parents threw him a "Handy Manny" party with all his family and friends. Here are a few pics from the big event.
